Certified as Master A.R.T. Practitioner
Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) Per the Rosenzweig Center for Rapid Recovery, ART is described as, “the best of well known therapies including Gestalt, Cognitive Behavioral, Exposure (imaginal, in-vivo), relaxation techniques, and Brief Psycho-dynamic therapy and combines them with eye movements similar to those we using during the (REM) Rapid Eye Movement phase of sleep. ART utilizes a re-scripting process called Voluntary Image Replacement (VIR) to assist clients in replacing negative images with positive ones.
Certified in Brainspotting

Brainspotting uses the visual field to access unprocessed trauma and pockets of emotion. Per David Grand’s website Brainspotting.com, BSP makes use of this natural phenomenon through its use of relevant eye positions. This helps the BSP therapist locate, focus, process and release a wide range of emotionally and bodily-based conditions. BSP is also a brain-based tool to support the therapy relationship. We believe that BSP taps into and harnesses the body’s natural self-scanning, self-healing ability. When a Brainspot is stimulated, the deep brain appears to reflexively signal the therapist that the source of the problem has been found. BSP can also be used to find and strengthen our natural resources and resilience.”

searching for a therapist that gets you

Welcome.

Finding a therapist is a lot like playing go-fish, in the jungle wearing a parka in 90 degree weather.

I hope as you land here, you can take a deep breath and know you are invited to be you, as you are. You belong on this hard planet we landed on and I celebrate your warrior spirit that brought you here. This page is meant to give you a sense of the type of person I’ll show up as in therapy. Never perfect, but real, warm, creative, and slightly off keyed humor that you’ll think is just right for you.
